Making it easier to search for and order products, via a new digital interface.
The new catalogue works on both web and mobile devices. Right now, no login is needed, buth this will change when pricing features are added. Users will get advance notice before the login process starts. There is no set date for shutting down the old catalogue. The transition will only happen when all key features are ready.
More features are coming soon such as stock level updates, order history and better search filters for "in-stock" products. Prices will be added in release three later in the spring. Stock visiblity for warehouse stocked products will be included in a future update. The search results page will be made easier to use, with better product comparison, "add to basket" options, and quantity selection.
Some users may face issues while using the catalogue. To avoid access problems ensure a stable internet connection and use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a work or mobile device. If a product is in the wrong category, let the programme team know so thery can fix it. If the catalogue is slow, check your internet speed and report any ongoing problems. If you find incorrect or missing data, report it to the programme team so they can update the system.
