Bulk tailored catalogue guidance

Bulk upload to your tailored catalogue

Use this service to upload or remove multiple products to your tailored catalogue in one action.

This service is intended to support:

• first time catalogue setup
• large scale catalogue updates

This feature is in early release. It works, but some confirmation messages and notifications are not yet available.

Before you start

You must read and follow all instructions on this page.

Your file will not upload successfully if it does not meet the requirements.

Download the template

You must use the approved bulk upload template. The template is available from the bulk upload page.

Do not change the structure of the template.

File requirements

Your upload file must meet all the following rules:

File format

Your file must:

• be in CSV format
• use the approved template

Columns

Your file must:

• only contain one column

• use NPC as the column header

Data rules

Your file must:

• contain one NPC per cell

• exclude special characters

• contain no more than 50,000 rows

File size and name

Your file must

• be smaller than 1MB

• use a file name with less than 50 characters

Uploading your file

To upload your file:

1. Select your completed CSV file.

2. Upload your file using the bulk upload service.

3. Allow up to 30 minutes for the upload to complete.

4. Log out.

5. Log back in to view your updated tailored catalogue.

Check your catalogue

After logging back in:

• open your tailored catalogue

• confirm that products appear as expected

• If products do not appear

Products will not upload if they are discontinued.

If you believe valid products are missing:

• use the feedback tab on the right-hand side of the website

• or use the feedback banner at the bottom of the homepage
